Rapids Landing is a land estate in Margaret River, Western Australia, developed by the Lester Group and marketed and sold by First National Real Estate, Margaret River. This policy is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Enquiry and waitlist forms

When you make an enquiry or register your interest through a form on this site, we collect the details you enter so we can respond to you and keep you informed about what you asked about.

• Enquiry and register-interest forms: your name, email address, phone number, any message you write, and the lot or stage you are interested in.
• Waitlist and release alerts: your name, email address, phone number, preferred lot size and budget range, and which alert channels you choose (email, SMS, or both).
• If you tick a marketing consent option, we record that you opted in.

We do not ask for financial, health or other sensitive information through this site.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and understand which pages are read. It is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors: it records the page, the referring site, the country, and the browser and device type, in aggregate. It does not run on the administration portal.

Maps

The map on our Contact page loads its map tiles from OpenFreeMap, a free open-source map host built on OpenStreetMap data, which sets no cookies and requires no account.

Who we share your data with

Your enquiry is shared with the selling agent, First National Real Estate (Margaret River), and the developer, the Lester Group, so they can respond to it. We do not sell your information, and we do not otherwise share it with third parties. If you opt in to marketing, emails are sent through our email delivery provider so they can reach you.

How long we retain your data

We keep the details you submit for as long as we need them to respond to your enquiry and manage your interest in the estate, and for any period we are required to keep them for legal or administrative reasons. You can ask us to erase your information at any time (see below).

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we correct it, or that we erase it. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Enquiries submitted through this site may be checked by automated spam protection. This protection does not store your IP address; it stores only a one-way, salted cryptographic hash of it, which cannot be reversed to identify who visited.

How we protect your data

Information submitted through this site is stored in our managed backend platform, which applies encryption and access controls, and is reachable only through a password-protected admin portal used by the sales and admin team. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling on the information you give us.
